This October we will host three separate sessions on the poetry of Arthur Sze. Poet and translator Arthur Sze is the 25th U.S. Poet Laureate. In addition to publishing twelve books of poetry, he also edits and translates. His work has received numerous awards including the National Book Award. His poems juxtapose complicated images and is informed by ancient Chinese poets, language, nature, and place. The reader must work to untangle (or entangle) these complex associations.
Join Tutor Alissa Simon as we wander through Sze’s tapestries. Alissa will host three sessions (1.5 hours each) on Tuesday evenings. You can register for one, two, or three of these discussions which will be held on Zoom. Email as****@*mu.edu for more information and to register.
